The interiors boast a stunning big fireplace, enhancing the charming atmosphere. Staff are genuinely caring and helpful, contributing to a warm environment. Breakfast is a highlight with a great spread, and the Cajun chicken pasta served for dinner was exceptional. the restaurant's service during a quiet evening was disappointing, with long waits for drinks and inattentive staff. the ambiance could use improvement to feel more inviting during off-peak times.

Had a decent time at The Fenwick. The room was a good size and very clean. I appreciated the attentive service from the staff at the reception and during breakfast. Breakfast had a nice selection, and the food tasted fresh. While the decor in the common areas felt inviting, I could hear some noise from the motorway outside, especially at night. The shower in my room was weak and took a while to warm up, which was quite frustrating. The heating in the room wasn’t sufficient, making it a bit chilly. Free parking was convenient, though.

We enjoyed our stay while exploring the nearby attractions with our kids. The family room was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable base for our adventures. Breakfast was a hit with the little ones, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, even when we needed a high chair for our youngest. The only downside was the noise from the nearby motorway, which made it a bit tough for the kids to settle down at night.

Had a blast with friends! We explored a nearby castle and enjoyed some scenic walks in the parkland. The staff were super friendly, making our stay comfortable. Just a heads-up, the rooms can get a bit warm, so maybe keep the heaters low. Breakfast was fantastic, and overall it was a lovely getaway.
One downside was that Room 22 was tricky to find. it’s behind an unmarked door, which could be confusing.

The room featured spacious accommodations with a well-arranged layout. I appreciated the comfortable bar area, which provided a cozy spot for relaxation despite some well-worn furniture.
Maintenance could use some attention. the walls showed signs of wear, like marks and chipped paint, while the shower hose had visible rust. Some flooring issues, like missing grout and an easily broken window, let in more noise than preferable. while these minor troubles didn't ruin my stay, they did stick out enough to warrant mention.
